Meringue Cookies
   

                                   

Ingredients
2 - Egg Whites
2/3 C - Sugar
1/2 t - Cream of Tartar
1 C - Nuts, chopped
1 C - Chocolate Chips



Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 250°F.
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whip egg whites until soft peaks form.
  • Slowly beat in cream of tartar.
  • Slowly beat in sugar.
  • Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Drop by large tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
  • Bake about 1 hour, or until the meringues are firm to the touch.
  • Allow to completely cool before removing from paper.
